| Event Summary | This session provides an opportunity for subject leaders of foundation subjects to explore aspects of subject leadership and how it relates to their subject area. | ||||||
| Event description | For some years Juniper Education has held subject leader updates for English, Maths, Science and Assessment Leaders in schools. With a focus on foundation subjects in many Ofsted reports and in recognition that, particularly in small schools, foundation subject leaders may have less experience of subject leading, we are pleased to add regular updates for foundation subject leaders to our CPD offering. During the sessions we will explore a range of issues including the role of the subject leader, curriculum planning, assessment and monitoring. We will also consider the development points raised in recent Ofsted reports. The sessions will also provide an opportunity for subject leaders to network with leaders from other schools in order to share ideas and best practice. |
